Leeds dominated the line of scrimmage and held off a Fairview comeback to earn a 36-22 road victory in the second round of the Class 5A playoffs Friday night at Dafford Smith Stadium.

The win propels Leeds (10-2) to the third round of the playoffs for the second time in the last three seasons, with a meeting with Corner in next week’s 5A quarterfinals.

“It’s a good win,” Leeds safety Reece Bittner said. “I’m really proud.”
