The first round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association flag football playoffs continued on Wednesday with six games, including No. 22 in the USA Today national rankings Prattville doubling up Oxford. The Lions won the first-round game over the Yellow Jackets 24-12 in Class 6A/7A action.

Three games are set for Thursday to wrap up the opening round of the playoffs, which will culminate on Wednesday, Dec. 4, with a pair of championship games at Birmingham’s Protective Stadium.
