Players for the American and National teams began arriving in town on Sunday, and will spend Monday getting acclimated to their surroundings and meeting with NFL teams. Fan events begin on Tuesday.

Among the national and in-state stars confirmed for the 2023 Senior Bowl are TCU quarterback Max Duggan, Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham, Illinois running back Chase Brown, Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh, Florida offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence, Alabama linebacker Henry To’oTo’o, Auburn linebacker Derick Hall, Troy linebacker Carlton Martial and South Alabama cornerback Darrell Luter. Practices take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Hancock Whitney Stadium. All Senior Bowl practices are free and open to the public.

One of the highlights of the week is the annual Senior Bowl Summit, set for Thursday night at the Saenger Theatre. This year’s theme is “A Stage Divided: A Night with Tide and Tiger Legends,” featuring stories and anecdotes from former Alabama and Auburn greats including Shaun Alexander, Ozzie Newsome, Cornelius Bennett, Ronnie Brown, Willie Anderson and Jason Campbell. Football historian and sports writer (and Mobile native) Ivan Maisel will moderate the panel, and comedian/impressionist Joey Mulinaro will also make an appearance.

Friday night features the Senior Bowl Street Party and Players Mardi Gras parade, during which players, college mascots, NFL cheerleaders and local high school marching bands will parade down Royal Street to Bienville Square to throw Senior Bowl trinkets and interact with fans. The night culminates with a free concert by Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Nelly in Mardi Gras Park.

Saturday is game day, with pre-game festivities including a performance by the Southern University “Human Jukebox” marching band, which will also perform at halftime. The Senior Bowl Fan Fest — including food, inflatables, yard games and other activities — begins at 10:30 a.m. on the South Lawn at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

The “Path to the Draft” team walk into Hancock Whitney Stadium takes place at 11:15 a.m. outside Gate 3. Kickoff for the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl is set for 1:30 p.m.
