3 TD passes by Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia in New Mexico State’s 31-10 victory over Auburn on Nov. 18, 2023. As the NMSU quarterback in that game, Pavia completed 19-of-28 passes for 201 yards. This season as Vanderbilt’s quarterback, Pavia has completed 118-of-183 passes for 1,534 yards with 13 TDs and three interceptions and run for 527 yards and four TDs on 134 carries.

3 100-yard receiving games for Vanderbilt TE Eli Stowers this season. No other SEC tight end has a 100-yard receiving game in 2024. Stowers had nine receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown against Georgia State on Sept. 14, six receptions for 113 yards against Alabama on Oct. 5 and eight receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown against Ball State on Oct. 19. Playing for New Mexico State last season, Stowers caught a TD pass in the Aggies’ 31-10 victory over Auburn on Nov. 18.

5 Punts have been returned for minus-15 yards against Auburn this season, the fewest punt-return yards in the nation. Vanderbilt CB Martel Hight has averaged 17.3 yards per punt return this season, the best in the nation for any player with at least 13 punt returns.

5 Field goals of 50 or more yards have been made by Vanderbilt K Brock Taylor in 2024, more than any other Commodores kicker had made in his career.

6 Auburn players have rushed for more than 3,000 yards after RB Jarquez Hunter reached 3,033 for his career by running for 278 yards in a 24-10 victory over Kentucky last week. Bo Jackson (1982-85) holds Auburn’s career rushing record with 4,303 yards. The Tigers’ other 3,000-yard rushers are Cadillac Williams (2001-04) with 3,831, James Brooks (1977-80) with 3,523, Joe Cribbs (1976-79) with 3,368 and Ben Tate (2006-09) with 3,321.

7 TD receptions for Auburn WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith in 2024, more than any Tigers pass-catcher has had since 2019, when Seth Williams had eight. Lambert-Smith has 30 receptions for 579 yards this season.

9 Victories without a loss for Auburn when playing Vanderbilt at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Overall, Auburn leads the series 22-21-1. The Tigers also lead the series 16-9 in SEC games even though Auburn started the conference portion of the rivalry with six consecutive losses. Vanderbilt most recently defeated Auburn 17-13 on Oct. 20, 2012. The Tigers have won the two meetings since.

Vanderbilt has a 1-1 record when the game is tied at the end of the third quarter.

13 Auburn completions have gained at least 40 yards this season, the most in the nation. Auburn is tied for the national league with six passes that have gained at least 50 yards. The Vanderbilt defense has allowed five passes that have gained at least 40 yards and two passes that have gained 50 yards. Auburn WRs Cam Coleman and KeAndre Lambert-Smith have four receptions apiece that have gained at least 40 yards, and all of Lambert-Smith’s have gained at least 50 yards.

14 Victories without a loss for Auburn when it holds its opponent to 20 or fewer points and 19 losses without a victory for the Tigers when their opponent scores at least 21 points since the start of the 2022 season. Auburn has lost 22 games in a row in which its opponent scored at least 21 points, dating from a 38-23 victory over Arkansas on Oct. 16, 2021. Vanderbilt has scored at least 24 points in every game this season except the Commodores’ 20-13 victory over Kentucky on Oct. 12.

16 Consecutive victories for Auburn over Vanderbilt when the Tigers have scored more than 13 points against the Commodores. In Auburn’s past three losses to Vanderbilt – in 1955, 2008 and 2012 – the Tigers scored 13 points in each game.

In 1955, Vanderbilt had a 126-40 scoring advantage entering November – an 86-point margin. The 1955 team ended its season in the first bowl in the Commodores’ history – a 25-13 victory over Auburn in the Gator Bowl.

137 Rushing yards are needed by RB Jarquez Hunter to record the 30th 1,000-yard rushing season in Auburn history. Hunter has 863 yards and five TDs on 120 rushing attempts in 2024. The Tigers’ 1,000-yard rushers have been Monk Gafford in 1942, Jimmy Sidle in 1963, Joe Cribbs in 1978 and 1979, James Brooks in 1979 and 1980, Bo Jackson in 1983 and 1985, Brent Fullwood in 1986, James Bostic in 1993, Stephen Davis in 1994 and 1995, Rudi Johnson in 2000, Ronnie Brown in 2002, Cadillac Williams in 2003 and 2004, Kenny Irons in 2005, Ben Tate in 2009, Cam Newton in 2010, Michael Dyer in 2010 and 2011, Tre Mason in 2012 and 2013, Nick Marshall in 2013, Cameron Artis-Payne in 2014, Peyton Barber in 2015, Kamryn Pettway in 2016, Kerryon Johnson in 2017 and Tank Bigsby in 2021.

150 Games have been played by Auburn since it was most recently shut out, the longest streak in school history. Auburn’s most recent shutout loss came 49-0 to Alabama on Nov. 17, 2012. The Tigers’ 24-10 victory over Kentucky last week pushed Auburn past its school-record 149-game streak that started with a 55-16 victory over Richmond on Oct. 4, 1980, and ended with a 17-0 loss to Alabama on Nov. 26, 1992. The two scoring streaks are the ninth- and 10th-longest in SEC history.

157.27 Is the passing-efficiency rating of Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia against conference competition. Pavia has the best rating of any passer who has thrown at least 52 times in SEC games. Against league opponents, Pavia has completed 61-of-90 passes for 716 yards with eight TDs and three interceptions.

166 Passing yards are needed by Auburn QB Payton Thorne to reach 10,000 in his career. Thorne got 6,493 of his passing yards in three seasons at Michigan State before joining the Tigers in 2023. Thorne threw for 194 yards and two TDs in Auburn’s 31-15 victory over Vanderbilt last season.

183 Yards and two TDs on 19 carries for Auburn RB Jarquez Hunter in a 31-15 victory over Vanderbilt on Nov. 4, 2023. That was Hunter’s single-game rushing high until last week, when he ran for 278 yards and two TDs on 23 carries in a 24-10 victory over Kentucky.
