What will the weather be like in November? Here’s one forecast
Alabama’s streak of above-average temperatures could continue through November, according to forecasters.
NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center has issued its temperature and precipitation outlooks for November, and they suggest Alabama’s warmer weather pattern could continue through the month.
There’s no clear signal if we could get more rain, however.
The temperature outlook (shown above) is forecasting a 50 to 60 percent probability of above-average temperatures over the course of the month for all of Alabama.
That’s above-average temperatures for the month of November. Very generally November high temperatures range from the low 60s in north Alabama to the low 70s for south Alabama. Low temperatures range from the low 40s in north Alabama to the mid- to upper 40s for south Alabama.
Nationally, most of the eastern U.S. is favored to be warmer, while there are equal chances of above- or below-average temperatures in the West.
The precipitation outlook is not overly encouraging for bringing an end to the drought:

The CPC also has shorter-range outlooks for both temperature and precipitation.
The six- to 10-day temperature outlook, no surprise, favors above-average temperatures for Alabama:

The precipitation outlook suggest near-average rainfall will be possible in Alabama through mid-November. Southeast Alabama has slightly higher odds.
