Another Cook Out location comes to North Alabama, 2 more coming to state

North Carolina-based Cook Out has opened its newest Alabama location in Gadsden.

The new restaurant is located at 303 E. Meighan Blvd., on the site formerly occupied by Rally’s.

The building features a distinctive sign with the outline of the state of Alabama above the entrance.

Founded in Greensboro, N.C. in 1989, Cook Out brought its first Alabama restaurant to Tuscaloosa in 2016. It currently has restaurants in Pelham, Birmingham, Huntsville, Decatur, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Prattville, Montgomery, Florence, Troy and Mobile.

Other locations will open soon in Mobile and Dothan, according to the company website.

Overall, the company has more than 300 locations, also serving up chicken, barbecue, quesadilla and other items.
