U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was in Mobile Tuesday for a groundbreaking ceremony to commence the start of the long-awaited Amtrak Gulf Coast project.
The former mayor of South Bend, Ind., during his remarks in Mobile, also weighed in on the other important project for coastal Alabama: The Interstate 10 Mobile River Bridge and Bayway project.
