Six injured in wreck near Harvest daycare
Five adults and one juvenile were injured Tuesday in a wreck involving a Harvest daycare, according to reports from WAAY 31.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Jeff Road and McKee Road.
Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue told WAAY that three vehicles were involved and one of them ended up hitting the daycare nearby. All occupants of the daycare, including the children and staff members, are accounted for and were uninjured.
The extent of the injuries of the six people involved are currently unknown.
An inspector from Madison County’s Building Inspections Department has been requested since one of the vehicles damaged one of the exterior walls of the building.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will be investigating the incident, according to the report. Authorities ask that people please avoid the area at this time.
