An investigation is underway after a man was found fatally shot in Montgomery.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 2:21 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a person shot in the 100 block of Aster Drive.

Lt. David Wise said first responders arrived to find 23-year-old Richard O’Neal dead on the scene.

Additional details surrounding the deadly shooting have not been released. Wise labled the incident a death investigation.
