Very few people can make a first-hand comparison between two of the most explosive high school running backs in Alabama history. Walker High School’s Linnie Patrick was the best of his era when he played his last season in 1979. The same was true for Etowah’s Carnell “Cadillac” Williams exactly 20 years later.
