A North Alabama man is dead after an industrial accident at a chicken processing plant.

Morgan County 911 received reports of an industrial accident at Dutch Quality in Decatur around 7 p.m. Saturday night. A man was transported to Decatur-Morgan Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation is being conducted by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
