K.J. Lacey threw for 270 yards and six touchdowns as Class 6A, No. 1-ranked Saraland clinched the Region 1 title with a 58-7 victory over visiting Murphy at Spartan Stadium on Friday night.

Lacey, a Texas commit, tossed scoring passes of 4 and 26 yards to Santae McWilliams, 3 and 28 yards to Carson Gill, 29 yards to Caden Kelly and 11 yards to DeShawn Spencer.
