Montgomery Academy breezed through a pair of Thursday volleyball matches, downing Percy Julian and Stanhope Elmore to earn the Class 6A, Area 4 tournament title and advance to the South Super Regional Tournament.

The top-ranked Eagles (49-3) allowed only 31 points in six sets, beating Percy Julian 25-3, 25-3, 25-4 and Stanhope Elmore 25-6, 25-6, 25-9.
