Country legend Dwight Yoakam on tour: How to find tickets

Country legend Dwight Yoakam, a singer-songwriter, actor and filmmaker, is on tour through 2025.

He has released 15 albums and has been nominated for more than three dozen awards and has won two Grammys and two Academy of Country Music awards. Yoakam has also appeared in numerous films and TV shows.

He will be performing in Tuscaloosa this week.

His first three albums reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart.

Yoakam has also earned a name for himself as a character actor, appearing in more than 37 films and TV shows, according to his IMDb page.

He also has screenwriting, producing and score composing credits.

Some of his major films include 1996’s “Sling Blade,” 2002’s “Panic Room,” 2005’s “Wedding Crashers,” 2017’s “Logan Lucky.” In 2000, he directed a western called “South of Heaven, West of Hell.”
