Mobile is closer to getting a new waterfront, luxury hotel that officials promise will energize the city’s riverfront.

On Tuesday, the Mobile City Council is slated to pass a resolution agreeing to the sale of 10 Water Street, nearly two acres of land, to One Water, LLC. The buyers will pay around $3.3 million for the land, which is adjacent to the Mobile Convention Center.
