Alabama football injury report: Latest on Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice before Tennessee
Alabama football could get two of its top receivers back this week for the Tennessee game.
Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice both missed the South Carolina game with injuries.
“Right now I would say they are probable,” Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said Wednesday on the SEC coaches teleconference. “Just continue to work through practices. Feeling better and better about it each and every day.”
As for edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre who was out for the South Carolina game: “He would still be up in the air right now. Probably probable to questionable. Somewhere in there.”
Prentice sustained a head injury in the loss to Vanderbilt. Law had a lower-leg injury that kept him out against Vanderbilt and South Carolina.
Law has been a starting receiver this season along with Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard. Prentice has also been frequently in the rotation. Prentice is fifth on the team with eight receptions for 107 receiving yards and one touchdown. Law has caught two passes for 41 yards and one touchdown.
Meanwhile Pierre had been in the rotation at Wolf with the likes of Que Robinson, Qua Russaw, Keanu Koht and others.
No. 7 Alabama will travel to Knoxville to face No. 11 Tennessee on Saturday (2:30 p.m. CT, ABC) at Neyland Stadium.
