94-year-old man dies month after Birmingham traffic crash
An elderly man has died a month after he was injured in a Birmingham crash.
Thomas Emory Ward, Sr., 94, died July 20 at UAB Hospital, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
The wreck happened at 1:56 p.m. June 19 in the 300 block of Summit Boulevard.
Chief Deputy Coroner said Ward was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved. No additional details have been released.
Birmingham police are investigating.
