Huntsville police say one person is dead and three people were injured in a traffic crash this afternoon.

Officers responded to the two-vehicle crash in the area of U.S. 431 South and Plainview Drive at 2:52 p.m.

Albert Morris Jr., 91, the driver of one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

One person with life-threatening injuries, and two people with non-life-threatening injuries, were taken to the hospital.

The wreck remains under investigation.
