‘90s rock band cancels tour, citing lack of ticket sales
Helmet won’t be touring after all.
Loudwire.com reports the band is cancelling its upcoming North American tour.
“The cancellation is caused by a mix of significant financial concerns and lower than expected ticket sales which is a common problem for many artists this year,” the band told Loudwire. “We look forward to getting back out on the road in 2025.”
The band has called off the North American slate, but, according to Loudwire, the European tour is still a go.
Helmet, which gained notoriety from 1989 through 1998, called ended their run before getting back together again in 2003.
The band’s last album, “Left,” was released in 2023.
