A search is underway for a 78-year-old woman missing from Bessemer.

Sharon Bertha Lemley was last seen about 10 a.m. today in the area of Maxwell Circle in Bessemer. She has a condition that may impair her judgment, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Missing and Endangered Person Alert.

Lemley was wearing a white and black tie-dye shirt. She may be traveling a green 2017 Kia Sorent0 with Alabama license plate 1A0YBC2.

Lemley is 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on Lemley’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Bessemer police at 205-425-2411.
