A multi-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon left a Montgomery woman dead.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Mary M. White. She was 74.

The wreck happened at 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 231, about one mile south of Wetumpka in Montgomery County.

Trooper Sgt. Jeremy Burkett said White was driving a Honda Civic that struck the back of a Lexus RX350. After the initial collision, White’s car began leaving the roadway and hit a Ford F-150.

The Honda continued off the roadway and struck a Culvert. White was pronounced dead on the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation by troopers.
