A 74-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Cullman County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Shelia F. Sisson. She lived in Horton.

The wreck happened at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 278, about seven miles east of Cullman.

Authorities said Sisson was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt that was struck by a Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old.

Sisson was taken to Cullman Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
