71-year-old man dies from Madison County motorcycle crash
A Tennessee man died from his injuries following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning.
Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. on Alabama 53 near the 331 mile marker, about three miles north of Huntsville in Madison County.
Gary R. Caraway, 71, of Humboldt, Tenn., was critically injured when the 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was operating collided head-on with a 2018 Dodge Ram, driven by Francisco Catalan, 21, of Huntsville.
Caraway was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where he died of his injuries on Friday.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
