67-year-old man killed when motorcycle crashes into fence in Lauderdale County

A Lexington man has died after a crash on Saturday evening in Lauderdale County.

Danny W. Robinson, 67, was fatally injured when the 1990 Harley Davidson FXSTC motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck a fence, according to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Robinson was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to ALEA officials, the crash occurred on Lauderdale County 483 near Lauderdale County 480, approximately four miles southwest of Lexington. Officials say no further is available as of Sunday afternoon.

Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate the crash.
