$66,000 seized during Jefferson County drug bust; suspect held on $3 million bond
A drug bust in northern Jefferson County led to the seizure of more than $66,000, as well as drugs, guns and scales.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office narcotics deputies and the SWAT team carried out a search warrant Friday in the 1100 block of Pebble Creek Parkway.
A 33-year-old man is being held on bonds totaling more than $3 million on multiple drug charges. Two other people were arrested on minor charges.
Tebyrius Davonte Watts is charged with three counts of drug trafficking, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Angela Hubbard, 57, and Jacob Tyler Cagle, 35, are charged with loitering and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both have been released from the Jeffeson County Jail after posting $1,000 bond each.
Sheriff’s officials said they confiscated cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and marijuana. They also seized $66,440 in cash and three guns.
Digital Scales; packaging material; cell phones; acetone; and a blender were also confiscated.
