A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday in Fayette County.

Alabama State Troopers on Wednesday identified the fatality victim as Jimmy D. Feltman. He was 65 and lived in Fayette.

The wreck happened at 5:49 p.m. on U.S. 43, about nine miles north of Fayette.

Trooper Cpl. Reginal King said Feltman was driving a Harley-Davidson that left the road and struck a tree.

Feltman was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead on the scene.
