An east Alabama man died Monday in a single-vehicle crash in Talladega County.

Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Anthony McCreary. He was 64 and lived in Lincoln.

The wreck happened at 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 20 in Lincoln.

Senior Trooper Vu Quang said McCreary was driving a Jeep Wrangler 4×4 that left the interstate, struck the cable barrier, and overturned.

McCreary was taken to Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
