Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Tarrant.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as Jeffery Alan Griner. He was 61 and lived in Pinson.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 12:09 p.m. Friday to the four-vehicle crash in the area of Pinson Valley Parkway near Springdale Road.

Griner was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:05 p.m. Friday.

Two others were also injured in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing by Tarrant Traffic Homicide Investigator Sgt. Patrick Howle. Anyone with information is asked to call Howle at 205-849-2811.
