6 people arrested in Mobile park shooting that killed former basketball player
Several people have been arrested in connection to an April park shooting that killed a woman, according to the Mobile Police Department.
The April 17 a shooting occurred at Sage Park and resulted in the death of Frenicka Craig, 28. Another individual was also injured in the shooting but survived.
Craig played basketball at Vigor High School and Coastal Alabama Community College.
The department said that on Thursday six people were arrested for allegedly participating in the shooting.
Jaquentin Brantly, 19, Roderiquez Holifield, 18, Mykeal Kimbrough, 20, Laderious Moore, 20, and Quinterios Parker, 23, were all arrested in connection to the shooting.
Parker was arrested in Ohio and a juvenile was also arrested and will be charged as an adult, police said.
All of them will be facing charges of murder and assault in the first degree.
