6 arrested in Alabama human trafficking sting

Six people have been charged in a Henry County human trafficking investigation following a sting Thursday.

“Operation Safehouse” focused on “the exploitation of the children in our community,” Sheriff Eric Blankenship said in a statement.

Arrested in the investigation were:

Christopher Clayton Kelly, 37, of Eufaula, charged with first degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a minor, and enticing a child for immoral purposes. He is being held on $120,000 bond.

Gregory Leon Porter, 22, of Abbeville, charged with first degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a minor, and enticing a child for immoral purposes. Porter’s bonds totaled $120,000.

Thomas James Pritchett, 29, of Union Springs, charged with first degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Pritchett’s bonds totaled $150,000.

Dawnte Ladell Allen, 30, of Dothan, charged with first degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Allen is being held on $150,000 bond.

Anthony Arjamie Russaw, 26, of Eufaula, charged with first degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Russaw’s bonds totaled $150,000.

Francisco Camaja Gomez, 26, of Virginia, charged with first degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a minor, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. Gomez is being held without bond.

Blankenship said the Henry County Task Force, State Bureau of Investigation (ICAC unit), Abbeville police, Dale County Sheriffs Office, District Attorney Russ Goodman and his Staff, The Department of Homeland Security, and Covenant Rescue Group took part in the investigation.
