A Bessemer woman was killed in a rollover crash in west Jefferson County.

The wreck happened at 1:31 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Alliance Road.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said 59-year-old Cathy Denise Larkins was the driver and lone occupant of a sedan that flipped. She was ejected from the car.

Larkins was taken to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 3:36 p.m.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal wreck.
