$57 million in new construction coming to Huntsville
Permits were issued last week for more than $7 million apartment buildings in northeast Huntsville.
That doubles the amount spent so far on the complex, according to Southern Exposure Information.
The city of Huntsville issued the permits for three buildings at 400, 401 and 420 Meadow Ridge View to apartment builders Edward Rose Associates of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Millennial Development.
Two of the permits were issued for buildings valued at $3.7 million, while a third was valued at $37,900.
Edward Rose Associates and Millennial Development were also issued two permits totaling $3.7 million for buildings at 427 and 423 Meadow Ridge View the previous week, bring the total investment to more than $14 million so far this month.
Edward Rose Associates is the builder for three apartment complexes in the Huntsville area, including Signature Pointe Apartments on French Farms Boulevard in Athens, Chase Creek Apartment Homes on Mountain Flat Drive in northeast Huntsville and Limestone Creek Apartments on Crimson Rose Drive in Madison.
