55-year-old motorcyclist killed in west Jefferson County crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash in western Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Jerry Alan Gill. He was 55 and lived in Hueytown.
The wreck happened at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday in the 7900 block of Lock 17 Road in the Bessemer area. Gill was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:37 a.m.
Details surrounding the crash have not been released
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
