A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as Mickey Ray Calloway. He was 55 and lived in Trafford.

The victim was found at 10:48 p.m. in the 400 block of Carson Road North. He was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:08 a.m. Wednesday.

Details surrounding the crash weren’t immediately available.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
