Authorities are searching for a 51-year-old man sought in a weekend homicide in Bullock County.

Joe Louis Hatcher is wanted in the Saturday slaying of 36-year-old Jeffery Monday.

The homicide happened at 1:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Locke Avenue in Union Springs. Details surrounding the slaying have not been released.

Central Alabama Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Hatcher’s location.

He is a Black male, 5-feet, 9-inches tall, and weighs 250 pounds.
