50 Cent, Busta Rhymes coming to Alabama: How to get tickets
Rapper 50 Cent will bring “The Final Lap Tour 2023″ celebrating “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” 20 years later to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater this summer, Red Mountain Entertainment announced Thursday.
Busta Rhymes will also perform, along with special guest Jeremih.
The show will take Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.
Verified Fan registration is open through Sunday, May 7 at 11 p.m. Verified Fan presale begins Wednesday, May 10 at 10 a.m. General public on sale Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster or the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater box office.
Tickets will cost $149.50, $119.50, $99.50, $69.50 and $39.50.
Born Curtis Jackson III, the New York-born rapper and leader of G-Unit rose to prominence in 2003 with the release of his major label debut “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” featuring number one singles “In da Club” and “21 Questions.”
He has sold more than 30 million albums and earned a Grammy Award, Emmy Award and 13 Billboard Music Awards. He also served as executive producer on the television series “Power,” in which he also starred.
Also born in New York, Busta Rhymes is a popular and widely respected rapper, producer and actor nominated for 12 Grammy Awards. An original member of Leaders of the New School, his most popular singles include “Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check,” “It’s a Party,” Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See” and “Dangerous.”
He is also an accomplished actor, appearing in films like “Higher Learning,” “Shaft,” “Finding Forrester,” “Narc” and “Halloween: Resurrection.”
