A Shelby County man is behind bars on multiple child sex charges.

Timothy Daniel Vinson, 49, is charged with three counts of first-degree rape and three counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes, according to court records made public Thursday.

Vinson, of Vincent, was booked into the Shelby County Jail Wednesday.

According to charging documents, the victim was a girl under the age of 12.

Warrants state he lured the girl into his living room on three different occasions – once in February and twice in July – to have sexual intercourse with her.

No additional details were released.

Vinson remains jailed without bond.
