40-year-old ID’d as man found dead Sunday on Jefferson County roadside

Authorities have released the name of a man found dead Sunday morning on a Jefferson County roadside.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Ke’tyric Migual Robinson. He was 40 and lived in Birmingham.

The discovery was made at 6:40 a.m. by Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service in the 200 block of Quebec Drive. Because that location is in unincorporated Jefferson County, the sheriff’s office was notified.

Sheriff’s Lt. Joni Money said deputies found Robinson dead on the scene.

The body was taken to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy showed no signs of trauma or foul play, said Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates.

The cause of Robinson’s death is pending additional lab studies.
