3rd suspect arrested in Mobile homicide that left mad dead, juvenile hurt
A third suspect was arrested Tuesday in connection with an April shooting that left a man dead and a juvenile seriously wounded in Mobile.
Martrise Myers, 24, was arrested and taken to Mobile Metro Jail, the department said. No charges were listed for Myers.
He was the third suspect identified and arrested in the April 23 homicide on Prairie Avenue.
A Semmes man, 26-year-old Jaylin Jaron Craig, was found dead in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on the street.
A juvenile, who was not publicly identified, sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident. He was found in a second vehicle and taken to a local hospital. He survived his wounds.
Kalvin Lamar Matthews Jr., 20, of Mobile was arrested in late May and booked into the Mobile Metro Jail, charged with murder and 1st-degree assault.
Another suspect, 24-year-old Grant Lavarus Myles, was arrested and charged with the same crimes earlier in May.
