39-year-old ID’d as man killed in weekend shooting in Montgomery
Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a weekend shooting in Montgomery.
Police on Wednesday identified the victim as Devoris Gray. He was 39 and lived in Montgomery.
Officers and fire medics were dispatched at 9:42 a.m. Saturday to a report of a person shot on Mose Harris Street.
They arrived to find Gray dead on the scene.
Sgt. Tina McGriff said the circumstances surrounding the victim’s killing remain under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
Gray is the city’s 16th homicide this year.
