37-year-old man killed in Tuscaloosa shooting

A 37-year-old man was killed in a shooting Wednesday at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

Tuscaloosa police responded to the shooting at 11 a.m. at Forrester Gardens apartments on James I Harrison Jr. Parkway,

Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy said the victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Kennedy said the investigation is active and ongoing, and witnesses and persons of interest are being sought.
