Investigations are underway after separate shootings Sunday left three people injured.

The first happened just 10 a.m. at 9th Street North and Fourth Avenue North.

Sgt. LaQuitta Wade said two people were wounded in that incident, but additional details were not immediately available.

Later on the Mother’s Day holiday, just before 2 p.m., a person was shot while inside a vehicle in the 200 block of 12th Street West.

Wade said the extent of that victim’s injuries is not known.

Police said updates will be released when they become available.
