Three suspects have been charged in the fatal shooting of a man who was robbed and killed during a gun sale in east Alabama earlier this year.

Gadsden police on Thursday announced capital murder charges against Jakarious Markel Moore, 19, of Odenville, D’Angelo Devante Martin, 26, of East Gadsden, and Kendrick Terril Williams, 19, of Gadsden.

They are charged in the slaying of Jacob Graham.

The deadly shooting happened at 11:50 p.m. on March 30 on Mississippi Street in East Gadsden.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Graham inside his Infiniti G35 suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to UAB Hospital where he died two weeks later.

Before he died, Graham was able to tell detectives he was robbed and shot while he was trying to sell a gun, said Sgt. Jake Keener.

The investigation led to the trio’s arrest and the recovery of the murder weapon.

The suspects were initially charged with robbery and attempted murder. Those charges were upgraded to capital murder following Graham’s death.
