2nd suspect charged in fatal shooting of 16-year-old boy in Montgomery.

A second suspect has been charged in the September shooting death of a teen boy in Montgomery.

Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of 19-year-old Perez Sturdivant. He is charged with murder in the Sept. 10 slaying of a 16-year-old whose identity has not been released.

Last week, police announced the arrest of a 16-year-old on a capital murder warrant in connection with the same case.

The shooting happened at 9:49 p.m. that Sunday in the 100 block of Gazebo East Drive.

Additional details have not been released, but a man was also injured in the same incident.

Sturdivant was taken into custody earlier today by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. He will be held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
