A 28-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash Thursday night in Montgomery County.

Alabama State Troopers on Friday identified the victim as Joseph R. Miller. He lived in Montgomery.

The wreck happened at 6:50 p.m. on Alabama 126, about two miles east of Montgomery.

ALEA Lt. Jeremy Burkett said Miller was driving a Dodge Charger that collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 driven by 20-year-old Matthew Neely of North Carolina.

Miller was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
