An investigation is underway after a man was shot death in Montgomery.

Police and fire medics responded at 6:40 p.m. to the 4200 block of Knoll Gate Road on report of a shooting.

Jeralyric Goldsmith, 25, was found wounded, said Maj. Saba Coleman. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Coleman said there is no additional information available for release.
