24-year-old woman injured in Center Point shooting
An investigation is ongoing after a woman was injured in a Center Point shooting.
Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded at 11:12 p.m. Thursday to a report of a person down in the 900 block of 27th Avenue N.E.
Spokesman Henry Irby said a 24-year-old woman was found wounded.
Center Point Fire and Rescue transported to UAB Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Details surrounding the shooting have not been released, and Irby said no one is in custody.
