An investigation is ongoing after a man was shot to death Thursday morning in Montgomery.

Police identified the victim as Shaquille Davis. He was 23.

Montgomery police and fire medics were dispatched at 7:20 a.m. to the 700 block of Havelock Lane on a report of a person shot.

Sgt. Tina McGriff said officers arrived to find Davis dead from a gunshot wound.

No additional details have been released, and no arrests have been made.
