23-year-old ID’d as passenger ejected, killed in Birmingham crash
Authorities have released the name of a man killed when he was ejected from a vehicle in a Birmingham crash.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as Alante Lytrell Porter. He was 23 and lived in Leeds.
The wreck happened at 9:22 p.m. Monday on Fifth Avenue South at Crestwood Boulevard.
Porter was a passenger in a two-vehicle crash. The victim’s vehicle hit a utility pole, causing him to be thrown.
He was pronounced dead on the scene at 9:48 p.m.
Birmingham police are investigating.
