Authorities have released the name of a young man shot to death Tuesday night in Montgomery.

The victim has been identified as Calvin Walker. He was 22.

Montgomery police and fire medics responded at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a person shot in the 1500 block of Mt. Meigs Road. When they arrived, they found Walker dead on the scene.

Maj. Saba Coleman said circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting remain under investigation.
